First Hajj Departure Flight for the 1445 H/2024 Hajj Season

The first Hajj flight for the 1445 H/2024 Hajj season departed early morning on 9 th May 2024 from KLIA around 12 AM. This first group consisted of pilgrims flown in from Kota Bharu and Alor Setar before gathering at KLIA. To celebrate this first group of pilgrims, the management and staff of Amal were also present at KLIA, led by Chief Operating Officer, Tuan Haji Muhammad Najmi Mansor. Also greeting the pilgrims were the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), YB Senator Dato' Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, and the team from the Lembaga Tabung Haji, led by its Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain. For this year's Hajj season, Amal by Malaysia Airlines, will fly for up to 15,800 pilgrims with the first phase of the trip will take place from 9 May to 9 June 2024.
