In accordance with Islamic principles and Amal by Malaysia Airlines’ emphasis on providing our passengers with the best pilgrimage experience, we ensure that all our cabin crew members are well-trained and possess the unique skills required to deliver Amal by Malaysia Airlines’ customer value propositions. ‌Our female crew members wear the hijab as well as attire that is not only different from Malaysia Airlines’ commercial flight crew, but also one that aesthetically matches the pilgrimage theme of Amal by Malaysia Airlines flights. ‌Each of our crew has attended the necessary Umrah and Hajj courses to further understand and provide our customers with information concerning their journey to the Holy Land and trained to perform the Azan and lead in-flight prayers. Our crew are also trained to assist and handle elderly and passengers with reduced mobility and are able to provide on-board medical assistance.

Our Fleet - Fly in comfort and travel with ease Take to the skies with us Amal by Malaysia Airlines will be operating the Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft for our flights to Jeddah and Madinah, while flights to other Malaysia Airlines sectors will operate on the Airbus A330-200, A330-300, A350-900, and Boeing B737-800 and B737-800 NG aircraft. ‌‌The A330-200, A330-300, B737-800 and B737-800 NG aircraft offer two (2) cabin classes: Business Class and Economy Class; whereas the A350-900 offers three (3) cabin classes: Business Suite, Business Class, and Economy

A350-900 The Airbus A350-900 is the first A350 model and the first Airbus aircraft largely made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer. The A350-900 carries 286 passengers and has a range of up to 18,000 km non-stop.

A330-300 The Airbus A330-300 is an Airbus twin-engine powered by a choice of General Electric CF6, Pratt & Whitney PW4000, or Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines. The A330-300 has a range of 11,750 km and it carries 290 passengers.

A330-200 The Airbus A330-200 is a twin-engine passenger jet that has a three-class configuration and carries 287 passengers. The airliner has a range of 13,450 km and is 4.84 meters shorter than the A330-300 (63.66 m).

B737-800 The Boeing 737-800 is the most widely used narrow-body aircraft from the Next-Generation 737 family. The aircraft is a stretched version of the 737-700 and replaces the 737-400. The 737-800 carries 160-166 passengers in a two-class configuration and has a maximum range of 6,570 km.

B737-800 NG The Boeing 737-800 NG is the latest addition to our aircraft family. Its reduction of weight contributed to a huge part of our ongoing sustainability commitment as the consumption of fuel is less for each flight, and ultimately reduces our carbon footprint on the planet. The in-flight entertainment experience has changed, moving from the seatback to the passenger’s personal device, and the brand-new seats are lighter and more streamlined. The B737-800 NG carries 174 passengers in a two-class configuration.
